About me

I am a London-based freelance journalist, researcher, copywriter and author (The Armchair Activist’s Handbook). If you’re here to find out more about the book, or are looking for useful links on activism, please head to my Books page.

As a journalist, I specialise in the environment, social issues, activism, business and travel. I provide writing and editing services for a wide range of clients, including The Guardian, The New Statesman, New Internationalist, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, The Ecologist, Ethical Consumer, Conde Nast Traveller, The Big Issue, Third Sector and Ethical Living among others. I am the sub-editor for Nursery World and provide editing cover for a range of other titles. I also run a website called Ethical Travel.

As a copywriter/content designer, I provide a wide range of services, from web copy, to blogs, to whitepapers, to brand and style guidelines. See here for details.

To see some nice things that editors and clients have said about me, check out the Testimonials section.

I also give the odd talk (such as this one) and radio interview about my book.

Please do have a look around to find out more – and why not get in touch?
