About me

A life-long passion for words, a thirst for knowledge and a drive to seek out new challenges… these are the reasons that being a freelance writer and editor suits me down to the ground. My genuine enthusiasm for what I do means that I always seek to make the ordinary exceptional.

It also helps that I have formal training – a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Cardiff University, knowledge of media law and shorthand to 100 words a minute.

Outside of the world of writing? I enjoy playing the guitar, curling up with a good book and meeting new people. I also have a love for travel that has taken me to Argentina, Morocco, Australia and much of Europe. One of my favourite places in the world will always be Cornwall, where I grew up.
